Der Burley Kupplungsadapter für Schnellspanner ist oft die einzige bzw. sicherste Möglichkeit eine Kupplung zu montieren. Häufiger Grund sind die fehlenden 5 Umdrehung der Achsmutter aufgrund des Auftragens des Kupplungsmaterials. Manchmal passt eine Kupplung auch aus anderen Gründen nicht an das Fahrrad: Etwa wenn der Hinterbauständer im Weg ist oder der Rahmen keine plane Auflegefläche hat. In diesem Fall kann die Kupplung mittels dieses Adapters um 2 cm vom Fahrradrahmen weggerückt werden, was in den meisten Fällen ausreicht. Dazu wird einfach der Schnellspanner des Fahrrades umgedreht, d.h. der Klemmhebel rückt auf die rechte Seite. Anstelle der Mutter verschrauben Sie den Adapter und montieren dann daran die Kupplung.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
